i have a thing for commencement speeches. here's some lessons ms power offers graduating santa clara lawyers:
i) too much passion / conviction can be a bad thing;
ii) use reason as a tool but don't let it get in the way of your beliefs. "dispassionate passion";
iii) don't be apolitical;
iv) there is no fuel like friendship;
v) you don't have to do everything in order to do something.
