When I saw this I was disturbed at how hard Foukara was trying to be “civil” and how cautious he was not to call out Israeli crimes for what they are. Being objective is one thing, but going so far as to praise Israel for the only country where the AlJazeera bureau was a comment that came out of no where. AlJazeera gets an opportunity to speak directly to the American public and they decide towalk on egg shells? Absurd.

i was actually very impressed by foukara's performance- when he said he was from al jazeera arabic i have expected the interview to disintegrate into a shout-fest. he read and played the show's tone well and i found him surprisingly balanced on the politics as well. he deserves kudos for stating the israeli bureau comment.
