i am a podcast junkie in case you hadn’t noticed. milt rosenberg’s extension 720 is a recent subscription. he hosts the eminently sensible thomas p.m. barnett whose economic determinism, macro-perspective and level-headed optimism really appeal to me. he has a new book out that i will need to track down at some point [great powers: america and the world after bush]. he predicts saudi and turkey will follow iran’s nuclear lead with a two-state israel-palestine solution resulting. other highlights: w. bush was alright (on foreign policy) and iraq will in retrospect be as important as the boer war (exactly – i had to wikipedia it too).
follow him @thomaspmbarnett.
